Parent Support

Parenting is deeply meaningful—and often deeply overwhelming. Parent support sessions are designed to help you feel more confident, connected, and grounded in your role as a caregiver. Rather than focusing on “perfect parenting,” we work together to better understand your child’s needs, strengthen your relationship, and develop practical strategies that actually fit your family.

These sessions provide a supportive space to reflect, problem-solve, and gain tools that are developmentally appropriate and realistic to use at home. Whether you’re feeling stuck, exhausted, or unsure how to respond to challenging behaviors, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Parent support may include:
  • Understanding your child’s emotional and developmental needs
  • Learning effective, age-appropriate discipline strategies
  • Improving communication and reducing power struggles
  • Building consistency and confidence in your parenting approach
  • Exploring how your own stress, history, and expectations impact parenting
  • Strengthening attachment and connection, even during difficult seasons
Great for parents who:
  • Want a stronger, more connected relationship with their child
  • Feel stuck in cycles of conflict, defiance, or miscommunication
  • Struggle with discipline or setting boundaries
  • Want developmentally appropriate strategies that actually work
  • Feel overwhelmed, burnt out, or unsure if they’re “doing it right”
  • Want support alongside their child’s therapy or independently
Parent support can be helpful on its own or as a complement to your child’s counseling. My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and better equipped to navigate parenting with clarity and compassion—for both your child and yourself.
