About Children’s Counseling

Children come to counseling for a variety of reasons. Whether your child has been referred by a doctor or school, or if your child has asked to come to counseling themselves- it’s important to get your child the help they need.

About

Hi, I’m Kristen! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor serving the Grapevine and Southlake areas, and I absolutely love working with children and teens. My focus is on helping those who may be struggling with communication or acting out. Many of my clients find it hard to make friends or express their feelings, and I’m here to help them navigate those challenges.

I earned my Master’s in Clinical Children’s Counseling from the University of North Texas and have diverse experience working in schools, psychiatric hospitals, and domestic violence agencies. I specialize in supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, children with anxiety or depression, and those on the autism spectrum. I have a special place in my heart for neurodivergent kids!

One of my greatest joys is working alongside my perfect little therapy dog, Linus. He’s amazing at helping kids feel comfortable during sessions and loves being part of our work together. You can read more about Linus [here]!

When I’m not in the office, you can usually find me behind a camera lens, painting, exploring new places, or spending time with Linus and my husband.

I would love to learn more about your family and help support your kids. Reach out with any questions here.
