Children come to counseling for a variety of reasons. Whether your child has been referred by a doctor or school, or if your child has asked to come to counseling themselves- it’s important to get your child the help they need.
Hi, I’m Kristen! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor based in the Grapevine and Southlake area, and I absolutely love working with children and teens. My focus is on helping those who may be having a tough time communicating or acting out. Many of my clients find it hard to make friends or express their feelings, and I’m here to help them navigate those challenges!
I earned my Master’s in Clinical Children’s Counseling from the University of North Texas and have diverse experience working in schools, psychiatric hospitals, and domestic violence agencies. I specialize in helping individuals who have experienced trauma, children with anxiety or depression, and those on the autism spectrum. I have a special place in my heart for neurodivergent kids!
It’s also truly one my greatest joys that I get to work with my perfect little therapy dog, Linus. He’s a pro at making kids feel comfortable during sessions and loves being a part of our work together. You can read more about Linus here!
When I’m not in the office, you can find me behind a camera lens, painting, exploring new places, or hanging out with Linus and my husband!
